Crimson crime

Crimson crime

A Story by Jeannette Lunete
"

An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind. ~Mahatma Gandhi

"
First scene. Last act. A blind telescope is chasing their satellite to the last state of oblivion.
Leila is layered by lilies. White lilies of serenity.
She danced the groan away like Aska did it with the Wolf.
Who may be the Wolf? Intolerance? The absurdity of accepting diversity?
Question marks won't reanimate Leila or the lilies.
Revive her instead with an epitaph of awareness. Awareness about the toxic germs of odium.

Gandhi was right...hatred just doesn't make anything better---
awareness is an antidote, love is the best.

Thanks a lot Amaranta for this lovely review. I appreciate it a lot. :)
First off girl the alliteration in this one had me dancing.. you know it is a weakness of mine.. I love the depth in which each of your pieces makes me think.. there are such deeper meanings sprinkled in each one of your works that I have read and your use of language is always refreshing and stimulating.. I love everything about this.. from the message, to the scene, to the phrasing.. favorites for sure!... awesome:)

As we look into the universe of dreams where ideals might be held in eternal tranquility of celestial sufficiency The Wolf of Fenrir ready to wage war again in that battle, the battle, the one too many that would prove the undiong of the fight itself including the ones taking part. But that battle even though fenrir was defeated he was only transformed to come down then as the spiteful snake that continues to roam endlessly convincing all the ones deaden of heart. That hate should consume that hate will not subside. As most seem ready to abide.

Thankyou
