Prologue* We didn't know

                “In our world, the old cloak and dagger game has taken on a new form. We no longer see men portrayal as secret agents like James Bond. The government has been working in secret for years to make the absolute secret agents, known only as Validus. These agents have remarkable abilities, than normal people. These agents are hand chosen for their abilities, and are trained for years before taking any missions. Among the Validus agents only the exceptional rare agents will become Darkling agents. These agents work in a small unit to take on extreme hazard missions. Their identities are unknown to anyone outside their small unit. They are extremely dangerous if one ever went rogue, orders state if a Darkling agent go’s rogue, terminated with extreme prejudiced….They didn’t tell any one of us that part. We didn’t know what we were getting into once we signed up, how could we?
