Grey & Red

Grey & Red

A Poem by Alice Claire Culley

Like a grey cloud over a bright red rose on a pitch black night
His eyes stare at me for the last time
His face was as white as an albino Boa
His touch, as cold as an iceberg
His lips moved like a snail crawling up a mountain
That was how it felt
To have seen him for the last time
Before he left me.
