Chapter One

Vincent, Ashley, and Liam were sitting in bean bag chairs in Ashley's attic, screaming at each other as they threw potato chips and in-game punches.

"F**k off, Liam!" Vincent growled as he threw a pillow at the red-haired kid. "I'm trying to focus!"

"You f**k off, you dick!" Liam hollered through the pillow, throwing it off in one swift fling.

"Damn, guys, you'll bring my uncle up here!" Ashley snorted, smiling as she watched her friends bicker. "Hush it!"

"On it." They replied together, still glaring at each other. Ashley rolled her eyes, when a loud ring from downstairs snapped their attention.

"Ashley, will you get that?" Her uncle hollered from below.

"Yep!" Ashley called, before turning back to the boys. They sat there for a second, looking from her to each other and back to her with confused faces. Ashley smiled. "What?"

"Shouldn't you get that?" Liam said, slightly drowned out. Ashley rolled her eyes once more.

"My, my, aren't you two gentlemen." She replied with a snarky voice, barely holding in laughter. The two guys looked at each other, before jumping from their chairs and running towards the stairs, shoving and yelling at each other as they tussled their way towards the front door.

"The poor dicks," she laughed to herself, grabbing a handful of crackers. "Can't let the other be better."
