My Flowers Are Endless.

My Flowers Are Endless.

A Poem by Alice

redmarks cover my wrist where your hands use to be
the sparkle left my eye so abruptly.. much like you
but the pain in my heart, that stays forever.. its the one thing that stays forever
aching like the trees in a thunderstorm, drowning all flowers in its stream of water, what once helped, becomes they're demise.
a flower, thirsting for water, dying in the heat. got what it wanted in the end, just not how it wanted it.
long streams of dead flowers cover my gaurd rails, suffocating the metal that is my heart. but no one cares about a guard rail until it saves youre life,
until the moment you come crashing down and im the one to catch you, when my heart is the one to take the damage.
and sure you have a few scratches, but i have infinite, i will sit here with my decaying flowers that never bloom, and catch you everytime you fall.
but you'll never pick up my flowers..
