Keep On Walking

Keep On Walking

A Poem by alice
"

A mother's last thought as her child ran.

"

Keep on walking my child,
Do not look back.

Keep on walking child and do not cry.
I will soon be by your side,

I will walk with you back to camp.

Keep on walking child and do not lose your way.

I will be right by your side
to walk you back to life.

Read again... and with these eight lines you speak of such a loving devotion of a mother, and remind us of the haunting horror of this tragic event. Your words also speak to us today.. that we must not give up.. that we may find peace if we keep on..

Amazing...very simple, yet so powerful in that special way. Keep it up; great read!

Crazy heavy image here, I could visualize the whole thing frighteningly clear. Its amazing to think of all the injustices in the world and then hold them up to your own life. That question what if I wasn't born when or who I am but instead a Lakota Sioux during this time frame. This was very good, gripping and sad. I loved it.
