A Vampire's Secret

Alice's P.O.V

Then I heard a scream.A scream that did not belong to the man.

Present

My head turned so fast I'm suprised I didn't break my neck.As I locked my eyes to the person the voice belonged to I froze.I could feel my body going back to it's normal form.The person I saw was............................

Nachalis.

'Crap!Crap!Crap!S-she saw me?!' I thought my eyes as wide as a plate.

She looked at me A thousand expressions across her face:Shock,disbelief,confusion,betrayal,and sadness.But the strangest thing was I didn't see any trace of fear.I didn't smell it,sense it,or feel it.There was more betrayal than anything else.I looked down hanging my head my pink hair falling over my face.I dropped to the floor on my knees on top of the man.She immediately tried to come over to me.

"Don't come any closer."I said quickly.She skidded to a stop."Why?Why aren't you scared?Why aren't you running for your life?Any normal human would have screamed there head off by now, why are you so calm?"

"Because."She answered simply.My eyes turned red with anger.

"That's not good enough!!You have to be afraid of me!I-I'm a monster.I'm not the Alice you know.I'm hideous."I replied sadly.

I heard her giggle soflty."That doesn't change your personality.It doesn't change your attitude.Your still the stubborn,sweet,gentle,caring person you were before all I want to know for now is how and when.But we all need to discuss this."

"W-we?"I said stuttering slightly.She simply nodded as she walked out of the house saying: "Meet us at the park at 6:00 tonight ok?" and with those last words she left.

I fell laying my cheek on the soft floor.If I could cry like I could before my clothes would have already been soaked with salt water.But it's like I remember how it felt to have that wetness rolling down my cheek.I could remeber it so much that I swore I felt the tears rolling down my cheek.But when I put my finger to my cheek..I felt nothing.Not a single drop.I layed there for only God knows how long, then I felt my phone vibrate.I picked it up and looked at the caller I.D. . . It was Kevin calling me.I ansewered the phone hesitantly.

"H-hello?" I answered cursing at myself for stuttering.

"Oh my god!!Thank goodness your alive!Alice don't scare us like that!Ok so since I've confirmed your alive. . . WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?!NACHALIS WON'T TELL US ANYTHING!YOU HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO NOW!Come to the park I don't care how tired you are."He said not waiting for my response her hung up.I sighed and walked out of the house without bothering to lock or close the door.I walked to the park and sat on the bench.I saw Samantha,Kyle, Kevin, Jacob, and Nachalis walking torwards me.The first thing Jacob did was hug me tightly.I hugged him back.I could hear him crying.

"Don't ever do that to me again do you understand?" He said squeezing me tighter.Again I felt the feeling of me wanting to cry so bad, it was like a big lump in my throat that I couldn't swallow or throw up.He let me go and grabbed my shoulders.

"You have some explaining to do."He said sternly.I sighed again.Everyone sat around in a circle.I narrowed my eyes.They looked like little kids waiting for a story from there kindergarden teacher.I took a deep breath and began.

"It all started my 13th birthday.I was walking home when I was bitten by a vampire I guess.Then I turned into a vampire."I said simply.They looked very dissapointed.I gave them an innocent look.

"Come on Alice.There's got to be more to it than just that." Sam said crossong her arms.

"Yeah!I mean you've never done that in front of us before.How come it happened now?" Kevin asked curiously.I raised my eyebrow.

"Someones curious."I said.I looked over at Nachalis.She hadnt said a word, and she was looking down.I frowned.

'Why won't she say anything?!'

I thought.

"But you see I don't even know the answer to that.My bite marks just started glowing.It was strange, it happened when I was in the car on my way to Kyles house.But then it stopped."I said.

"If your a vampire how come you can come out in the sunlight?" Jacob said calmly.

My eyes widened.They were just asking me calmly, there not flipping out.Just like Nachalis did in the house.I didn't understand at the time.

"I'm confused.Why aren't you all scared of me?I-am-a-vampire.Has it still not kicked into your system yet?"I said quietly.

Kevin shook his head."Were not scared because your still our Alice.Your not a monster."

I shook my head too fast for any human to keep up."No!You have to be afraid of me!I'm not still Alice I'm-"

SLAP!

I held my face with my hand.Of course it didn't hurt.Physically that is emotionly. . . it hurt like hell.I looked up to see Nachalis had slapped me.I looked at her with wide eyes.

"What the hell Nachalis?!How could you just slap her!?We were talking!That was unnecesary!"Yelled Sam getting up and getting in Nachalis face.Kyle pulled her back by her wrist.I smirked tauntingly.

"It didn't hurt one bit.I don't care if she hit me.She can hit me as many times as sh wants.It's not going to change the fact that it doesn't hurt.And I don't care."I said glaring at her.For some odd reason my eyes had turned red and I was talking darkly.It felt so wierd. . . but at the same time it felt so great.

Nachalis looked at me and glared.I glared back.

"You know at times you can act like a b***h?But I never tell you anything because I never wanted to hurt your feelings." She started, there was something in her eyes that i didn't quit understand. "but now. . .I could care f*****g less!Your stubborn, annoying, and ungrateful.Wheres that present I gave you a couple years ago for your birthday?Hmm? Care to explain?Yeah that's what I thought.You don't know how much money that costs me and you told me you would wear it everyday.I've never seen you wear it once."She finished venom clear in her voice.

I didn't understand what it was. . .But I felt a strange presence around her.And it wasn't Nachalis.Not even an ounce of her left.I didn't know what happened but whatever did I was going to get it out of her.The strangest thing was I could feel myself, my body getting hotter every second. . .My neck started to hurt again. . .For some reason I felt a dark presence surrounding Nachalis.I walked over to her.I could feel my hair turning black. . .

'What the hell?!How is this happening?I don't understand I'm not thirsty at all."

I thought.

In the blink of an eye I was face-to-face with Nachalis.She looked at me and smirked.

"Now Alice, Nachalis there's no need to fight about anything.Calm down." Kyle said raising his hands and coming torwards us. In nearly a second Nahalis hand was on Kyles chest and she was pushing him back.Kyle flew back and smashed into a car.

"Oh my god Kyle!" Sam yelled running over to him. Kevin following.My eyes flashed with anger.My hand grabbed her throat squeezing tighter and tighter.All she did was smirk, but I could see her face turning red.My fangs grew out of my mouth. . . My mouth went closer and closer to her neck. . .I was about to bite her when I was interrupted by the sound of cops.I jumped back almost immediatley landing on the bench.

"Oh my God! Alice those cop cars where heading torwards your house!" Yelled Sam pointing torwards the cars.

I looked at the cars and took off.I ran towards my house when I arrived I saw the cars parked in front of my house.

Kyles car parked on the side a short while after.The cops restrainted him and told him to get back in the car and to please leave.I went up to the house and the man I had taken away pointed at me yelling "That's the girl! Her!" I looked at him in shock.The cops grabbed me by my arms.

"Wait what's going on?!"I asked struggling out of there grasp backing away only to be caught by two more behind me.

"Your being arrested for attempt of murder.You have the rite to remain silent.Anything you say or do will be held against you in the court of law.If you do not have an attorney one will be appointed to you."The cop said putting the handcuffs on me.My eyes widened.

"WAIT!!!LET HER GO!!LET HER GO DAMNIT!!"I heard Jacob yell.I shook my head stubbornly not believing what was happening.

"Don't worry Alice!We'll get you out of this!!It's gonna be ok!Don't worry!"Samanthat yelled.I looked up and saw the cops restraining Kyle,Kevin,Jacob, and Samantha.I smiled at them as the cops pulled me to the car and pushed me in..I squeezed my eyes shut ready for it to be over.I wanted to wake up and forget about all of this.Cause it's a dream. . . right?
