Flower and HummingbirdA Poem by Alice.ValkyrieHer petals unfurl, revealing nectar sweet and aroma divine. Swift winged hummingbird gently licking, sipping, supping. Vivid flower bright, reveling in the tawny sunlight, spread your petals further that hummingbird may dine. Tonight, when twilight dawns and the pulsating moon rises full, draw your petals to your bosum, safely tucked away, to slumber until dawn. Fly home hummingbird, however far home may be. Your sweet flower will rise again with the sun, waiting for your tender kisses, eagerly. © 2010 Alice.Valkyrie |
