Broken Mirror

Broken Mirror

A Poem by Alice.Valkyrie
"

One of my old favorites

"

     Shattered fragments

  In pieces on the ground

  glittering in the sun

  reflecting

  bits of you,

  and bits of me.

  Fractured shards

  of mirrored remains

  shining refractions

  prismed daggers

  bits of you,

  and bits of me.

  Thousands of images

  looking, not seeing

  seeking for remnants,

  finding only,

  bits of you,

  and bits of me.

Good rhythm and perfect word selection! This is beautiful!

Other than soem grammatical errors, and a few flow problems. I don't see anything wrong with this poem, it's bittersweet - it seems as though if it were a song it would sound so lovely but the words would be dark.

Best of luck in future writing,
Melissa

A amazing poem. You create a vision of many memories broken and can't be put together again. Great description and story in your words. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

I love the repetition of "bits of you, bits of me". Each repetition ends the same way, yet they all seem to hold own individual meaning each time. Wonderful.
