Whispered TauntsA Poem by Alice.ValkyrieFor all those who wait....I sit outside and listen for your call, In almost total darkness, but, I hear nothing at all. Only the wind whispering through the tree tops.... Fool! Fool. The moon peeks out from the inky clouds turning the blackness to grey, giving an eerie cast to the night, and, if you saw my face you would know... I wait here every night. Pausing silent, and still, a sick feeling in my stomach, an ache behind my eyes. You fled long ago, yet, I cannot but hope that some night, you will return, and the wind will whisper taunts no more. © 2010 Alice.ValkyrieReviews
