The 3000 Contract

A strange letter comes in the mail...

January 31st, 2995

Major changes must be made to officially reform society by the year 3000. A majority of people are excited about this freshly made century in time, but they do not see the danger. If we do not start editing our ways of being, we may damage our city's future survival.

This is why I demand completely new rules of survival. Here are my ideas. Some of them may be revised, but none of them will be left uncompleted.

1. Cloning will now be legal. 
This idea was argued about in the years 2800-2900, but it will now be an end of discussion. For a reasonable amount of money, people can go to designated areas to get themselves cloned. Cloning may only be used for the following reasons until further notice:
1. To replace a body part
2. For scientific purposes
If a scientist wants your clone, you may not disobey him or her.
Clones will be kept in specific cells where they may not communicate, explore, or utilize their surroundings. This will prevent them from developing emotions which could lead to chaos in our society.

2. At the age of sixteen, all children must have a brain surgery done.
Every summer, sixteen year olds will enter a specific room where they will be in peace from anyone or anything except themselves for thirty days. They should sleep at least sixteen hours a day under strict guard. This will minimize brain activity.
After the thirty days, they will be put to a labratory where they will be undergoing surgery for the brain. Each teenager will have their own surgeon. 
Brain cells that control decision making with a tendency to cause chaos will be replaced with more peaceful cells. Those cells will come from clones.
The main point of this procedure is to lower violence rates or wipe them out at all. This city will think in one way, be going towards one direction, a direction filled with peace.
However, if a surgery causes brain mishap and/or the person remains violent, they must be executed under peace-making purposes.

3. Each government official will own an Automat.
A delicate structured machine that was known as a "robot" will be changed to the name "Automat." This is the German word for robot, and I feel that it sounds more scientific. This machine will give government officials more help on their projects, as they will be capable in:
Research,
Any phone operated systems, and
Communication to the public.

4. Ear-piercings are old. How about chip-piercing?
Since technology has taken over the current century, we might as well start encouraging it. To allow more out-of-seat internet uses, a computerized chip can now be installed in your brain. I'm sure everyone is curious on how this works:
The chip has been designed to work from anywhere outside the body, specifically, the scalp. It will be pierced in the middle of your scalp, and send specific options to the brain. You can call it a computer on the go if you wish.

3000 will be an exciting century in time for our generation, a place of great change.
