My innocenceA Poem by AliInnocence stolen
Make myself small, will I disappear? I pray to God 'don't see me here' would I, if I had a knife? terror bleeds my brain of life
Way too small to protect myself but far too big to hide on the shelf so you took that piece of my soul my precious innocence you stole.
My soul is clean and pure of that, I am forever sure I'm not to blame for what you did when you claimed what is forbid
Shame on you, for what you've done would I, if I had a gun? and you must live with what you stole you have damned your blackened soul. © 2012 Ali |
