Sea Legs

Sea Legs

A Poem by Analgesia

Fisherman smiles like scaling a fish

White waves crash like losing a ship

Slick cliffs loom like starting to slip

Houses stacked carelessly by the roadside

Winding pedestrian path picking it’s twisting way twixt sandy white

Houses of cards by the hungry sea

Barnacles rotting like teeth in a smile

Gentle waves lapping like faun by the Nile

Laundry lines dipping like a neck on a wire

i enjoyed seeing the sea from behind your eyes
i do not have sea legs
i have a fearful respect for the ocean
i see your love for it
its comforting

I've settle into a routine: I'll stew in my own words for a few months, then, when there's been enough rumination I'll dispatch some sort of half cocked pile of context riddled with pretension and lov.. more..
