Day Dreaming

Day Dreaming

A Poem by Analgesia

Underneath a Sicimore tree

blotches of shade envelope me

they cluster like islands

in a sea of sunlight

shining with luster as bright

as a smile

as bright

as her eyes

I sink to the bottom

I sink underneath

eyelids closing as I forget to breath

flicker and flash

waves above me splash.

And I drown

And I dream

of the sound of the sea

of deep blue

the depths of the briliant bright sky

and realize that day dreams

are and always have been

the blue depths of her bright eyes.

I've settle into a routine: I'll stew in my own words for a few months, then, when there's been enough rumination I'll dispatch some sort of half cocked pile of context riddled with pretension and lov.. more..
