Shuttle at Night

Shuttle at Night

A Poem by Analgesia

Lapping water, rolling troll dock

carbunckled gnarled old dock

Taste the water in the air

see the fire in the air

Tenebrose clouds of thunder

wings of a white twisting bird

lights of the city line the sky

bright thruster shooting star

comets tail lights the sky

dimming star ever afar

river city brightly settled

nestled in the sand

sand to glass as rockets blast

But quiet lights sleep tight tonight

tucked in inside the bright.

This poem is much more English than Latin, it's got the deep texture and love of words that define English poetry. I like it, it's precisely the kind of thing I'm into right now. It's sentimental and clearly personal, and I don't know precisely what it is you're saying; but I get the feeling. And that's the point, really, isn't it?

I've settle into a routine: I'll stew in my own words for a few months, then, when there's been enough rumination I'll dispatch some sort of half cocked pile of context riddled with pretension and lov.. more..
