Ghost Waltz

As i walk

as i wait

i see them dance

on the pitter

on the patter

under the streetlamps

watch them waltz

let music consume your world

let their lullaby swallow you whole

graze on their beauty

sway to their beat

they will sing

they will dance

they will look you in the eye

and ask you to prance

with them in the glow

of the showering night

the cold is bitter

but your love is warm

let me watch you waltz

to the bass of the night

let me watch you dance

to the acapella of rain

you look to me

you stretch out your hand

but when the song ends

you whisper goodbye

and disappear.

this is just so calm and has a feeling of intamcy with the reader that i loved you have made the pace and rhythm similar to that of the waltz its amazing how smoothly this flows.
