Forest

Forest

A Poem by AleyshaRosa

It

holds mystery,

yet seems so familiar,

so at home.

I’m held

in comforting, strong emerald arms, and

I never want to leave.

Your smile,

your eyes are everywhere.

Your laugh

is in the rustle of leaves.

I can’t help but think of you.

Your eyes

are in the bark, the

soil,

the branches swaying above me.

And your smile…

your smile is the

life radiating in the forest.

I just feel so happy and

free.

Lovely words! Nature is precious and I'm afraid too little people realize that! I particularly like the lines, "Your smile/your eyes are everywhere." All in all well, done! I'd like to read some of your stories sometime. :)

how very... forest nymph of you to say, and I must agree. I'm happiest being surrounded in elements of nature which is why I love this poem so much. My favorite line is, "I’m held

in comforting, strong emerald arms"
