Do you?

Do you?

A Poem by johnnyqueer

I've found you time and again, awaiting
You to come forth and crash into me.
Time takes you places far away,
Never in distance; Just decisions.
Faith grows dimmer each and every time.

Sometimes I laugh to myself and think
What the hell is he thinking, or sometimes
I wonder... Is he thinking about me.
I think too much when I think about you,
I feel okay when I think about you.

I don't mind waiting, although I get nervous
Seeing that you're talking to a new girl...
It burns worse than whiskey because I
Remember when you'd say you loved me.
I can't help but wonder if you love me.

Sometimes I feel like I'm trapped in your
Love, or the absence of your ability to.
I need you to figure out whether I'm worth your time,
Or if you're going to drop me altogether...
I realize I've given you too much control.

Time is running out and love is missing meaning,
I used to always want to be somebody's one...
Now I've put love on hold and become the lonely one.
Wake up, and realize that love is right before you.
Patiently waiting to be embraced, or pushed away.

Passion slammer, damn good

Posted 12 Years Ago

Love is...what it is. No matter what we do with it, it seems. I think all we can do is accept our own feelings about it. After all, that is what love is all about, our feelings, not theirs. Very well done, my friend.
