Echo: I am growing.A Poem by johnnyqueer
I can't seem to hide the disgust,
It surfaces even through my smile. I'm not afraid to speak my mind, But I fear all else would be afraid. This crossroad is now inevitable, I guess I could crash and burn. I could imagine it would be serene, To flutter up skyward as ashes. No intrusions to dilute the truth, All would sink into fresh silence. I would bask in my new found glory, With nothing at all left to say. My reflection and presence remain, So I suppose somehow I'm still here. Speaking more honest and fluid, My voice can never be ignored. Someday if I do crash and burn, I know I'll leave behind an echo. © 2012 johnnyqueerReviews

I transform all my feelings into text; Dancing, slithering, and stumbling from white pages. If you like my writing you can find me on Instagr.. more..Writing
