All in good time.A Poem by johnnyqueer
You ignite my fascination,
squint eyes and study. Confident in words spoken, shut my mouth and listen. Fresh much like rainfall, I collapse into fantasy. Thoughts ripple to surface, blush and try to sink them. You awaken demons, evoke them back to life. Connection acquired, all else pending. Drop my fears, place a gram of trust in you. Desire overwhelms and burns, spreads like flash fire. You press your thoughts into my mind, I bite my lip and change the subject. Too soon, far too soon. Cliche questions mask all the ones too soon to answer. All in good time, don't cross the line. © 2011 johnnyqueer |
