Within you.

Within you.

A Poem by johnnyqueer

Within you I found worlds, a galaxy of hatred
graced your existence. Honesty ran rivers wide,
never tired, or ever dried. You danced on shards
of a broken past, draped in disdain like a mask.
You bloomed like Orchid in your bed, bit your lip
and threw back your head. You murmured promises
of pain and devotion, drained me as if I were a potion.

Time turned you darker, eclipsed your aspirations.
You dug a grave too deep to fill, embellished guts
too intricate to spill. Rough around the edges, intimacy
rougher. Blood lust, soul rust, encrusted in rage too
thick to ever break. Teeth tore at skin, now blistered
and scabbed. A back full of knives, freshly stabbed.
A carcass made of scars, falling like stars.

Within you I found filth, hidden beneath layers
waiting to be peeled. An apple glossy, perfect red,
insides infested with worms now dead. Poison to the
psyche, and cells. Born of the devil, too damned for hell.
Rejected by sage's unable to break the spell.  Within you
I found poison, too addicting to reject. Such disgusting
love it put my soul to rest.

I can't even begin to tell you how beautifully crafted this is. Each word is like a facet into the next..drawing me into a complete ensnarement. The emotion's from this are so raw and pure...Truly a fine piece of writing.
