A quarterA Poem by johnnyqueerTurning 25
Time has danced it's arms around me,
In such a way that I found myself intrigued. Never noticing what he'd been stealing from me. Never noticing anything at all. Spiders spun intricate webs inside of my head, Reminding me kindly that I'm no longer aware. I could sleep for years and never miss a moment, I could sleep for years and find myself the same. I was able to destroy myself at a young age, Nothing was enough to challenge me since. I've got party hats and candles ready to glow, Half a century old, half the person I once was. © 2016 johnnyqueer |
