Hopeless RomanticsA Poem by Channeleshort, sweet, straight to the point
They want everything, but they don’t try They won’t face what they have done, just deny Hopeless romantics will plow through all crowds Won’t care if you’re already wounded, they won’t go around They want the prince, the white horse, the picket fence
Without any effort of achieving it Thoughts are vague with joy and faith They don’t realize how easy it is to run with pace
They rush and go; just to fall on their face No lessons learned, nothing earned, They want everything, even just a taste
Their wants and needs, completely misplaced Hopeless romantics ... hopeless romantics They want everything but they won’t try, just deny © 2013 Channele |
