Dear little one,

June ninth was the hardest time, preparing myself to say hi

Knowing from now on, you won't think of me twice

Yet, there's something beautiful about your existence, your presence has made me who I am today...

 

Flashbacks aren't needed

I hold all my memories of you like it was yesterday,

Years have passed,

I've been on paused... how long will this last?

I never thought I could let this go but its time

 

but just remember my decision was a mistake, of mine

Knowing from now on you will be alright...that

you won't need me by your side

Yes, there's light at the end of this but only in due time...
