Castle

Castle

A Poem by Alexis

I am shattered

Like the marble glass scattered

On the castle floor

Giving view to the gore

Surrounding my heart

The distorted piece of art

Hanging above my throne

Sliced and unable to be sewn

My walls are falling

While I am forced to stay crawling

Drowning in the black waters of the moat

Screaming for an antidote

To stop my own destruction

To turn away from deaths sweet seduction

I may be shattered and a fool

By I will rule
