A Poem by Alexandria Marie

Please break my bones,

And reassemble them.

I’ve never been a builder;

More visionary than anything else.

Please eat my heart,

And do use a napkin.

It’s quite tender;

Very prone to stain your shirt.

Please hold my hand,

And give it warmth.

I’d be forever grateful;

I could never forget my first touch.
