Your skin looks like sun in the candlelight. It’s warm and rich, like the eyes you look at me with. You lay next to me, not saying a word, just looking at me as I look at you. Your fingertips touch the palm of my hand, and I weave my fingers between yours. “This is what it must feel like.” I say to you. “What what must feel like?” You reply. “What heaven must feel like. I’m laying with you, and I’m in ecstasy.” You lean over and kiss me, slipping your serpent tongue into my mouth. Our tongues dance with each other, and eventually, the kissing ceases. I rest my head on your chest and close my eyes. You pull the covers over me, and I fall asleep in your arms. You twirl my hair around your finger and release it again, watching it bounce back into its original shape. Your embrace is all I need in this life to survive. Just don’t let go.

Nice poem of love. I find the word serpent to imply evil, but other than that, it seems perfect to me!
