WinterA Poem by Alex Louise EdwardsHomeless people on the streets over the winterLonely at times, Slowly time passes by, Here comes the snow, And out comes a sigh. Homeless on the street, No money, no water, No food to eat, Just a blanket wrapped round their feet. No home. No bed, No clean clothes, Just a hat on their head. Children homeless, nobody to care, Just people who stare. People walking past, The homeless looking helpless, The hunger they feel can not last © 2015 Alex Louise Edwards |
