Forever Wondering

Forever Wondering

A Poem by Alexander Cain

Today I looked down and saw my shadow, and the familiar comfort it brought. There was a time I was afraid of the darkness, but now I realize I have lived in darkness too long for the light. I wonder if I will ever belong in the light, or if I am truly forever cursed.
