Late Night Thoughts

Late Night Thoughts

A Poem by Alexander Cain

I think about my sister.
One cut.
I think about how much I’ve missed her.                                       Two cuts.
I think about my brother.
Three cuts.
I think about growing up without a mother.                                      Four cuts.
I think about my father.
just one more cut.
I can finally see the father.

Im am the one who you look to if you need a shoulder to cry on, but also the person you cross the street to avoid. I am cold hearted and caring. An oxymoron given physical form. more..
