The True One (Dedicated To My Best Friend)

She is the one who never left my mind,

and the one that hurt the most to leave behind.

Over the years she has been my only true friend,

so the love and respect she earned will never end.

She is as beautiful as a woman can get,

and her shining smile is one I will never forget.

She was there for me in my darkest days,

but was not scared away by stories of my wicked ways.                                                                                                                               

I reminisce on the days we laughed and threw snowballs at each other,                                                                                                   

and I look forward to the day we reunite with one another.
