Life Without Her (Dedicated To The One I Love)

Life Without Her (Dedicated To The One I Love)

A Poem by Alexander Cain

I don’t know how much longer I can live without her.

I dream about her, and no matter how pleasant, I wake with a shudder.
Without her in my life my days are so dull and bleak.
When she is nowhere near to hold my arms feel pointless and weak.
She claims the only person who would love her is a fool,
then call me a clown cause I most sincerely do.
She understands the scars I am forced to hold,
and for that a special place in my heart she will forever hold.
Now she has moved on and is dating another,
and she will never understand how hard it is to continue life without her.

Im am the one who you look to if you need a shoulder to cry on, but also the person you cross the street to avoid. I am cold hearted and caring. An oxymoron given physical form. more..
