May I Have This Dance?

May I Have This Dance?

A Poem by Alexander143
"

I enjoyed my Salsa dance lessons!!!

"

One... Two... Three,
The simple steps she takes.
Surely; her feet move carefree,
Hosting no thoughts of mistakes.

Slowly... Swiftly,
She moves her feet.
Her eyes fixed on me,
Our bodies, moving to the beat.

Like a victress,-
She guides me.
With tenderness;
Warm, and gently.

Her eyelids are heavy,
She commands me to hold her.
She throws herself on me,
And takes my soul far.

She danced with my all.
She danced with my heart.
She danced with my soul,
An intriguing work of art.

She danced like her last.
Purely, divinely, she moved,
Motion stretching to her past.
She danced the dance I loved.

In the aura of music,
We breathed as one.
Her lip stick, her hips, thick;
The silent charm of a woman.

She held me dear, so tight,-
Danced with me though the night;
Moved me with her every word;
She told me what I've never heard.

But by sunrise, she was gone,
Leaving me in my bed, alone.
But through every step I take,-
I re-light our one night's fire flake.

Keep Smiling
