Mirror mirror on the wallA Poem by Alexander143The different way in which we see the same things
Mirror mirror on the wall,
I don't want much from you. I just need to confirm- What's false and what's true. I will not ask you who the most handsome is, No, I will not inquire on my appearance. But I sincerly implore you- To be truthful with me, for once. I know that I'm not the most attractive, But I think I'm much more than what you see. You always give me reasons to doubt you, And to think that you're always less than honest with me. Mirror mirror on the wall, Would it kill you to give me my due? As in, seriously, I can even see a better 'me' in water. I apologize if my looks intimidate you. But then, honestly, Why do you keep changing your statement? You give me different answers for the same questions; I'm cute now, and not so much the next moment. Is it really that you can't be trusted? Or is it just my eyes? No, my eyes are perfect. It's only, you're filled with as much truths as you are with lies. Okay, now why are you this cruel? When you're broken, why do you affect me? It gets to me when you ruin my image. But you know what? I think you're just jealous. Mirror mirror on the wall, I appreciate the positive attitude you have towards me. But I have one last question for you; Why do you right whatever is left by me?
