Choose

Choose

A Poem by Alexander143
"

Sooner than later, we all have to choose just when we'll take the laugh...Whether first or best.

"

Between to taste an ounce of
favor from an angel,
And to chock in the density of a demon's affection;
To shower your life with hearty
laughter from a soul very cruel,
Or earn yourself a single upright
man's smile of recognition.

What appeals to you,
Right coated in wrong, or false
wrapped in true?
Choose something,
You ought to side for one,
Either to be an acquaintance of a supernatural being,
Or to be a treasured brother of mere man.
I, for one, have chosen,
A dimensional route to my
destiny, I have taken.

Check one of the following;
To lead a crowd of mediocres,
Or queue behind intellectuals-
following.
To hear a word from diplomats,
or a speech from jokers.
What holds more mass,
A watch with no arms, or an
empty hour-glass?
Okay, tell me something;
What really is better,
Between taking a step with a king,
And journeying the globe holding
the hand of a waiter.
Look beyond what you see,
That way, you can perceive life
like me.

Better is a loaf of bread,
accompanied by cheer,
Than a feast inflicting pain on
your soul.
Hold on to your hands findings, however little, mark it dear,
The mysterious angel will never be better than the demon you know.

Take pride in the little with which your soul is blessed,
Seek God's kingdom first and he will handle the rest.

Keep Smiling
