I could be...

I could be...

A Poem by Alexander143
"

Different views of the same thing

"
Harder...Faster...
The trend of life it's own.
Sadder...Bitter...
The tough are already gone.

Louder...wetter...
The deluge of sin is on.
Broader...hotter...
The line has been drawn.

I could be a sadist-
Cuz love's overrated.
I could be a pessimist-
Cuz hope is rejected.
I could be a racist-
Cuz colors are separated.
I could be a terrorist-
Cuz the rules are neglected.
I could be anything on the list,
But my life Jah has protected.
Thus, I'm a realist,
Welcoming the souls repented.

Keep Smiling

Just a few minor things:
Second line- no comma needed (I'm pretty sure, not 100%)
First line last stanza- "sadist" not "saddist"

Other than that, nice job! It flows well and has a good point. If I were not too tired to ponder, I would be pondering right now. As it is, I shall simply have to add this to my favorites list to ponder at a later date. :)

Seriously, nice job. The last two lines are simply marvelous.

"Thus, I'm a realist" I really liked that line. It brought the whole poem to a nice close. It flowed well and had a good theme. Well done!
