All the bestA Poem by Alexander143A distressed mother gives her only son in marriage.
All the best.
This is it. You've made up your mind. Today, you're leaving me. Silently, you've vowed not to look behind- Untill the dawn of eternity. Hesitantly, I walk you into the other woman's world. Slowly, you loosen the grip of my hand. My time is over. I can hear that even though you utter not a single word. I watch you walk away eagerly, but I don't stop you cuz I understand. It hurts me that my company you forsake me with the very words that her you take. You glance into her eyes and see the whole world. A world that only thinks it knows who you are? No, the world; your world, is what stares at you from my view, she's just another bumpy road. I loved you with my all. I chose to have and to love you. I loved you before you were. You'll always be a part of my soul. Nobody but God, can love you more than I do. An elegant companion, you stand before her, Adorned in that fine tailored suit. You're wonderful cuz the texture of the perfume you wear can be felt from afar. It's amazing, but I could see so much more in you when all you had was your birthday suit. I master enough strength to look on. As I wonder why you chose to break my heart in public. In the multitude amidst which you tear my heart, I feel alone. Your departure dooms me to a life of misery, I can't know pride with a heart this weak. Tears creep out through my eyes from my soul's bother- And glide down my undecided face. The edges of my wordless mouth repel from each other. That one kiss before many spells the gravity of my loneliness. You've been there for me. You've been my brother, you've been my friend. You're my family, The supportive pillar on which I could always depend. But even if I hate to watch you leave. I can't keep you any longer. You've got to go on. I taught you to, but now, it's my turn to give. So, farewell, I hope you enjoy your marriage, my only son. Keep Smiling © 2012 Alexander143Reviews
