Summers Adventure

Summers Adventure

A Poem by Alexander

Sometimes I lay awake at night
Thinking of the day to come
I have so much motivation
And yet I have no inspiration.

I spent today laying idle
No activities to take part
I want to have an adventure
Yet I don't know how to start

I have no problems to solve
No need to get dressed
No need to step outside
No a reason to be stressed

I want to go for a ride
I want any place to walk
All these things I could do
But I don't bother to knock

The day is just to perfect
In the sunny Hawaiian sky
Schools start still far away
Yet I don't bother to try

I have the world in my grasp
I have adventures to chart
But still I lay here Loafing
If only I knew how to start

I commit sloth and gluttony
I have some story's to tell
But I can always start tomorrow
This time is but a hell
