Chapter 2

The drives to Mel's club was a amusing one, to see Ruby have a spasm over her dress sadly enough brought a smile to my face.We pull up to the club and not even five seconds of stopping Ruby thrust the limo door open and exited rushing inside the club rapidly. As I walk in immediately spot Mel standing behind the bar and next to her is Sam, of course as always Sam is getting friendly with her not knowing I was standing there watching. I stand by the grand piano sitting in front of the bar for a couple of seconds to observe Sam as he attempts to make his move on Mel thinking to myself maybe I should give him a couple of more minutes with her to see how far it goes or at least how far she would let it go. See Mel had just got out of a previous marriage with her Ex-Husband Josh Welly for infidelity issues in their relationship, from the retrospect given by Mel it came out to be that her and Josh met at a benefit of Ruby and Jezza's. Josh was simply a normie just like Jezza was, without the help of their wives they wouldn't be where they are today well financially at least. Mel and Ruby grew up wealthy of course from their inheritance giving by their parents, Mel was given all of their fathers clubs therefore dubbing her "The Queen of the Night..Clubs", Ruby was given their fathers conglomerate which she shaped, molded and renamed Rose Corporations the business alone brought in millions making Ruby "The White Queen". With befriending Ruby I was introduced to Mel as just a friend what coincidence she would be going through marital problems, just like Ruby and Jezza I added fuel upon Mel's flames but not as much and with time passed her marriage came down in flames. It was never predicted that I would ever end up dating Imvi's Club Queen it was just a shock to me as it was to others. So while growing tired of watching Sam try his hardest to woo Mel I let a cough and raise my eyebrow to let Sam know his time alone with Mel was done "Oh...baby hi" Mel said as she stopped counting the supplies behind the bar "Hi baby...ugh Hi Sam, so hey baby anything new today?" "No not really just doing some inventory you know getting ready for tonight but um why is Ruby all bent out of shape?" " A caffeine incident" "Caffeine?" "don't try to understand it" I let out a quick smile . "Oh yeah Abby a man by the name of um I believe Steven or something came in today looking for you" Sam proclaimed with an arrogant grin on his face "thank you Sam and his name is Stevie" "well I don't keep up with kid nicknames" "Oh i'm sure that's not the only thing you don't keep up". An awkward silence rolled in after that but was soon broke by Mel " So Sam did you come up with the IPO's for the club?" Mel asked as I stood quiet letting them talk "Oh course I did here they are and if you look closely you can see that we have a substantial donation coming in from a Mrs.Cassie Capazzi the check was brought in by Max Kair's husband". I already didn't trust Sam with Mel's financials especially because the clubs were the only thing she had well that and about $50 Millions dollars to go but it was the principle especially with her knowing that Ruby was never a big fan of how the Capazzi's conducted their business but yet Sam would take a check from them is just suspicious all in itself. "Umm Sam can I talk to Mel right quick" I asked, Sam continued to stand by Mel's side so I give him a look of slight anger "okay let me rephrase that, Can I talk to Mel alone? Please thank you" Sam then walked to the office and closed the door. I hurried and pulled Mel close to me "Really?" "Really what Abby?" " so now Sam looks over your money and you trust him with it?" "Look Abby Sam has been with me and the clubs for a while now I trust that he knows what he's doing now can you trust me?" "I do trust you it's him that I don't trust just thinking about it make me quiver" "Aww Abby don't be like that" "come on Mel think about it, having Sam go over your money is like having a snake babysit a mouse.....someones not getting paid that night" "Abby do you trust me ?" "yes I do" "well I trust Sam so if you trust me you gotta trust Sam" "if you honestly expect me to believe that then you must really don't know who you dating". Ruby then comes out from the back of the club where the changing rooms are dressed in a white Chanel top and black skinny jeans "So how do I look?" Ruby asked "well i'm going to put it like this..if you weren't my sister I would definitely pay for thirty minutes with you" Mel replied "thirty minutes!!! father time would spend his time on me I look better than a 1925 bottle of chardonnay" "Yeah ruby and one sit of you would make him pass out" I replied " exactly what is wrong with that Abby?" Ruby stated. Out of the blue we here a loud rumble break through the club walls "What in the world was that?" Mel asked "I don't know sis let's check it out" Ruby replied "C'mon Abby" Mel said. As I was about the follow them I over heard some yelling coming from Mel's office where Sam was so I eased over by the door and cracked it open a bit so I could hear clearly. I could hear Sam talking on the phone to someone "So it's set?"......"I got the documents here with me at the club"........."this is too easy they won't suspect a thing but first we need to take care of that problem, I set up the hit".........."the informant is on their way, they should actually be here by now". Mel and Ruby are standing outside of the club investigating the noise we all heard when they come upon a Pitch Black 2011 Dodge Charger "mmmm I can only imagine what kind of sexy man rolls around with that much power in their engine" Ruby stated "umm aren't you married?" "a minor setback sis minor set...back". The car door from the Charger flies open and out steps a tanned skin,6 foot 2 inches, short cut black hair, fairly tattooed, Muscular male wearing a fitted gray tee, Black Levi's; Ruby stood there in a trance as if he put a spell on her. "Wow he makes me wonder if gay is the right way" Mel stated "ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" Ruby replied still in a trance by the mans physique "Ruby!! Ruby!!! hellllllo earth to Ruby!" "huh huh" "Hey Jezza" Ruby then snapped out of the trance looking around frantically "where where Jezza huh where" Mel began to laugh as she watched Ruby "oh you find that funny?" "actually I do" "shut up I wanna meet him". Suddenly the man looks around and spots Mel's club and begins to approach Mel and Ruby, Ruby starts to fidget as if she was a giddy little school girl "Oh my God sis he's coming this way" Ruby stated
