A New Beginning

Chapter 1

With this being my second month in the city of Imvi  I can honestly say that I have been through a great deal of problems but in the midst of those problems I had friends that I could rely on to pick me up when I was down...........or at least what I thought was friends. My name is Abby B, I am an ex model currently unemployed from my previous job as the Fashion consultant for Bling Modeling Agency, a 22 year old lesbian searching for the greatest of love if it is there. I used the money from my modeling days to purchase a two level house right on the beach of Imvi; there I live with my adopted daughter Kendall. Just about a week ago i began dating Melanie but everybody called her Mel or Ms.Melly, she was the owner of one of Imvi's prominent night clubs with her business partner Sam Pacino. I was introduced to Mel previously by her sister Ruby Rose, Ruby is one of three co-owners to the Ocean Villa with her husband Jezza and her cousin Kair being the other two of the co-owners. While walking in town I sent Mel a text message letting her know I would be at Buckstars the coffee shop of Imvi meeting Ruby to talk and hangout. As I wait behind two people to approach the counter to order my drink I take notice to the  female cashier taking the orders she was a young blonde at least the age of 15, she had smooth milky white skin, hazel and green eyes, 5 feet 4 inches by height and a nice build when it came to her body; someone Kendall would love.  Finally approaching the counter I begin to order "Ummmm I think I think i'll just have a simple jasmine tea today"  I smile as I take five dollars out of my pocketbook and hands it to the cashier "okay and thank you for choosing Buckstars" the cashier replied "oh can you guys have the tea brought to my table if that's not a problem?" I ask.  Sitting at the table i start going through my e-mails on my phone when I come upon one from my friend Stevie which read "Hey Abby, i'm in town for a quick convention :) decided while i'm here i'll stop by and check out this place and maybe you can introduce me to this lucky lady you've been going on and on about". Suddenly I hear a loud smack on the table which came from a black Gucci clutch purse, I look up and see Ruby standing there in her Dolce and Gabana sunglasses with the matching sundress and heels. "So I take it people don't say hello anymore?" I chuckle behind my question " well when you've had the day that I have then hellos really aren't in the vocab anymore you get me?" Ruby proclaimed "Awwww Honey Bunches whats the problem today? No business at the Villa?" "No it's not that sweets it's......well........it's difficult to explain and when I even think about it I just get pissed even more" "Oh this must be something big if the great Ms. Ruby is upset about it" I smile after saying. You see Ruby like myself was a socialite upon the community and her peers although she was more known in Imvi then I was, everyone respected and admired she and her husbands marriage for it was the pillar that kept Imvi's business world up but lately there had been problems rising in their relationship and to be honest I was adding fuel on the fire. "Abby"" "yes honey bunches?" " Do you know i got a text from some b***h this morning while i was at the villa?" "No I didn't but umm what did the text say?" how about I let you see for yourself then you can tell me what you think about it ?" "um sure I guess". The message on Ruby's phone read: "isn't it good to know that somebody can take care of Jezza when you're not there :) " I looked in shock because even though I was trying to break Ruby away from Jezza's clutches I never thought that him his self would make it easy for me. "Wow...so who is she? Like is this a joke or what or maybe your hubby has found a mistress to you know?...." Ruby got slightly angered from my comment "No I don't know what you mean why don't you tell me miss know it all" "hey hey hey I just meant you know ...to keep him warm at nights....days.....afternoons...breakfast, lunch, dinner, brunch and hey maybe now and then she's his midnight snack" I begin to laugh. "So you find this funny huh ?" "actually yeah I do....I mean come on now Ruby it was bound to happen" "what was bound to happen? My marriage  ending because of some stripper on the other side of town? is that what you meant by bound to happen?" . I could see that Ruby was starting to really get upset, she clinched that clutch as if it was Jezzas neck;boy would I hat to be in his skin. The cashier then walks up to the table bringing me my tea, sitting the tea down gently on the table she then tucks the hair covering her eyes behind her ear right before saying "Here you are miss, can I get you anything else?". I can tell from the body language of this girl that she was a shy one so I picked up th tea and said "No that would be all umm" I took a quick glance at her name tag to read the name printed in it and quickly said "Rionna Jordan" "oh ummm yeah.....you can just call me RJ for short well umm uh that is if we ever meet again...uh not umm saying i'm looking forward to me meeting you again umm" RJ replied stumbling on her words as if she all connections in her head just shut off. Ruby stared with a disgust look in her eyes at RJ as she made of fool of herself in front of herself and I, then Ruby snapped her fingers trying to catch the attention of RJ as if she was a dog on the street "Umm R....J whatever....coffee girl how about you bring me an espresso with a scone" I smiled at the embarrassment that RJ portrayed for it was cute and kind of entertaining. "Yes Mrs.Rose I will get that immediately no problem" RJ announced before walking back to the counter. I then give Ruby's leg a tap and say "Do you always treat people like that?" "only when they sit and make complete idiots of themselves I mean come on give me a break am I just that extraordinary that you can't put a simple sentence together when delivering tea to a table?" " well of course you are your highness" I reply to humor Ruby. "So back to this girl, like who is she? Do you have a name? Address? you know the simple stuff" I ask in concern "No! Who do you expect me to be Sherlock f*****g Holmes?"  "Someone's getting a bit bitchy don't you think? I mean it's just the most important stuff you should know especially when your HUSBAND is hiding some sideline hoe that you don't know about" Ruby quickly jumped up trying to cover my mouth but I fought off; people in the coffee shop stopped for a moment , got quiet and turned their attention us. Ruby then leaned in closer to me with her hand still at little distance away from my mouth "Shhhhh Abby damn do you think I want everyone to know about this?" I then move Ruby's hand down away from my face " My bad I didn't mean to catch everyones attention". The coffee shop then returned to normal and Ruby and I sat back in our seats and continued to talk "I mean it's bad enough I got f*****g reporters sending me e-mails about it" "wait you telling me they knew before you knew?" " i'm guessing they do I don't know I just.....don't ...know" Ruby then put her face in the palm of her hands for a second then raised her head and yelled "Can I please get my espresso?". I turn to the cashier to try to signal an apology but from the looks of it i was too late because I could see RJ fumbling behind the counter rushing to make Ruby's espresso. I turn back to Ruby and smile " Now I see why I hang with you" " Oh it took me to yell for a damn coffee to get you to noticed that? And here I was thinking maybe it was because I came to everyone of your fashion shows" "well that too" "Speaking of that, when do you think you will be getting back into the business?" "ugh work... not at this moment I mean i got my hands full with Kendall and she's already talking about getting into the fashion industry and you already know i'm trying to wipe that idea out of her head". RJ then rushed over to the table with Ruby's  espresso "here you are Mrs. Rose, one top of the line Buckstars espresso" RJ announced "It's about time" ruby said while giving RJ a dirty glance signaling her to leave away from us immediately "why try and stop her?" Ruby asked. Right at that moment RJ accidentally spilled the piping hit espresso on Ruby's dress, Ruby jumped out of her seat as if someone lit a bottle rocket under her butt and yelled " You stupid twit !!!!Do you know how much this dress costs?" "uh omg i'm so sorry ma'am ......imma umm imma get that up" RJ pleaded as she tried to wipe Ruby's. Ruby smacked RJ's hands away from her  "don't touch me you...........ooooooo.........you" right before Ruby could finish her sentence I jumped out my seat and hopped i front of Ruby " Hey hey hey calm down" "calm down, calm down.........Abby when you buy a $3000 dress and get caffeine spilled on it then you tell me to calm down till then shush" "okay how about this? Since we're already in out how about we drive over to Mel's and i'm sure she has something for you to put on I mean you two do kinda dress alike here and there?". Ruby then paused, took a deep breath and exhaled "No one dresses like me and I mean no one" "alright" I laugh. While Ruby storms out the door to call her limo driver I crouch down and leaves ten dollars on the table next to the tea cup "I'm sorry.....for my friend ........she's going through a lot right now so yeah" "no it's all my fault ugh I get all weak kneed when I see a pretty girl uh.... ummm uh  I mean when I uh" I smile "don't worry RJ I think you're pretty your'e pretty too". Finally the limo pulls up outside , Ruby and I gets in and heads to Mel's club.
