Hovercraft

Hovercraft

A Poem by Alex Vandool

Hovercraft

... . ... . ...

Devil rafting

Whizzing on old wave too flat

Screamscape thru the broken dreamscapes

Drifting out of fact

Remember the ones who showed your body tears

See the lies whisper apathy

Slow nausea and death

Warmed up to this electric world

Garish light is everywhere too much

And such a glimmer

Macroseconds

Minute moments

Who knows ?

Today's the friends' day

And bodies blown apart in Iraq

On and on it goes

Some new Vietnam...

A country's name is damned to horror stories, dread

Hover by and pass to other times in different spaces

Past and out of sight

Hang-over switch to fantastic realism

Morning of the magicians

Easing out in endless afternoon

... .. ... .... ... .. .... ... .. .......
