Third World Civil War

Third World Civil War

A Poem by Alex Vandool

They try ev'rything

Won't stop it

Start it

Start it

That's the big game

All against all

Sounds good to me

To them

To you

To you

Look around

Upside down

The world is back again

You went ahead of time

By standing still

Sleep

And laying there

Carnival

Car demon

Conscience dead

Who hunts whom

Who's slavin' who

Where's The Lie?

20th Century Promised Land's turbolizing

In your mind

My mind

Our mind

Our mind

On days like this

Their head spins

I am not a robot

We felt something, someone new

Touch the screen

Touch the screen

Other side of madness, midnight, ocean sweep

My finger to your finger

My soul to your soul

And tremor, tremor right

This one's gonna be the worst one

The prophecies of doom

Others said it back then

After that no more

Maybe give birth to new ones

When all the fighting's done

And we have grown together
