A poem For poets

Seems true, doesn't it?

A poem for poets is what too many are

A poem for poets will never get far

A write-up for writers is just that

A write-up for writers will never give back

A songbird sings, not for more song

A songbird sings, so that they may carry on

A flower blooms not to lighten the gloom

A flower blooms to stave off its doom

A poem like this will not show you how

But what not to do, you know know
