Captivated

Captivated

A Poem by Alex
"

Just give your opinions, I'm new to this stuff

"
From where does that soft skipping drum beat sound
That weakens my young heart when you're around
Impetuously leading to your guard?

It follows heaven's bright eye that does always appear
The same one that removes my reason fear
With such warmth, you stand and bask in my regard

To where do my complications swiftly flee?
In my angst patterned mind, they cease to be
From a whisper kinder than the winter wind's

For an uncharted course these feet have tread miles
And without my permission I vault into smiles
When you say you will know me for all of my sins

So confine me to your cave and ignite my body
My madness results from my own acts of folly
Those charms have only lead yourself to my arms

"so confine me to your cave and ignite my body" i like the rhythm of this line, and the imagery. you ask to be brought unto me and i oblige, making your body ache with fire.
