Words Can't Express/Stormy Nights.

Uhm, this is my first time writing about something positive, so I aplogize if it's worse than what I normally write. But these are two poems I recently wrote:]

Words Can't Express:

Looking back at all of the love I've lost and the words my heart has bled,

Now that I'm with you, I can't get you out of my head.

In my darkest of days that have caused me nothing but crying,

Just hearing from you makes me smile, and you aren't even trying.

The day I met you has filled me with nothing but happiness,

And I've been hoping only good things can come of this.

I don't think any words can describe or express how much you mean to me,

But all I hope is forever, together we'll always be.

 

 

Stormy Nights:

On dark, cold and stormy nights, I look up at the blackened night sky, feeling safer just knowing you're mine.

Watching as the lightning flashes and catching but a glimpse of the silhouette of dying trees, wishing you were right here beside me.

When the rain trickles down the window's glass, thinking of you makes me forget the painful ghosts of my past.

Looking out this window thinking about the distance between us, the miles apart, yet you still manage to fill the gaping hole in my barely beating heart.

The clouds begin the fade and the weather seems to be clear, now, losing you seems to be my only fear.
