My Smart ManA Poem by Alex HowellThis is a poem about a gay relationship that I was a part of between a 21 year old and me when I was 18. I wrote this poem as a way to flirt with a long distant guy. It did not last though. My Smart Man- Alex Howell You know how your moustache tickles me? Squirming me so flowing You went into me and knew My heart and body We were meant to be together You sold me to you like an investor How could you be so, suave? In your shirt and vest And you know the rest The gothic steampunk duo Long hair, brown tan skin Sleeping haphazardly How do you get in so many positions? Like a gentleman Me the girl and you the man I was not ok but you made the stay Playing the game of role playing Me in love with a spider lady But you know what happened There’s not much to say I am trying to keep with you You accept what I am exploring You may not believe there is life after death But boy, I will find you in the darkness And protect you from the other folk Court me, seduce me Hold my hand, kiss my lips Even if we depart I will always be your friend And I will come back torches ablazing I am afraid at what comes next My money's sorely spent But I will save as much I can See you my dear lover Is like cake on the icing So for now, it is the calls But I will spin you In the palm of my hand, gently And you will know me even more Love me that’s all I ask © 2018 Alex Howell |
