Come On!

Come On!

A Poem by Alex Howell
"

This is a poem is about a break up that happened to me back in 2014. She was my first love and she broke up with me really hard and I felt a lot of emotions because of it.

Come on!-Alex Howell

Did I realize that things come at a price that I cannot pay

Here I don’t know that is right or left anymore

My head is like a maze

And I don’t know where to begin

You said you loved me yesterday

Now you say it’s not the same

What have I done wrong?

You say we just won’t work out

Like ice being cut by a chisel

I gave you a lot

Poured out my soul to you

You were my rose at full bloom

My scabbard to my warriors’ sword

The sudden change is wrong

The precipice us coming too strong

Please hold my hand

What? No you won’t?

Now you are walking away

There goes my doe

I may have been a little cheesy with this poem but it is a true story.
