Soul Memory

Soul Memory

A Poem by Alex Howell
"

I would say this poem describes the things we do are stuck in memory and affect us in many ways. I would like to hear what people think it means to them.

Soul Memory-Alex Howell

Have you found it yet?

Things that happened already

Dances done and gravity met

Put on the clothes from yesterday

March in your own masquerade

Time can repeat yet again

Put on a mask and set the demise

Color your dark space

It is all in soul memory

The good and bad you do

The loneliness you feel tomorrow

Heartbreaks done by far

Keep you in suspense

A flicker of a memory of a ghost

Holding still the light

That is inside of you

Just cut it out of you

Whenever you need to feel

The thing from yesterday

Stuck inside your soul
