Predator

Predator

A Poem by Alexanne Dauntless

Shining hair, flashing eyes
Cross her path, I dare you. Try.
She'll crush your heart and watch you die.
See the evil deep within.
There is no beauty beneath her skin.

She will hate you, despise you, abuse and defile you.
Marred by past events, she executes revenge.
She feeds off your lust; she'll fuel your desire.
Can you not see what a beast you admire?

Hips sway; heels click
you place your heart on her fingertips.
Neurotic mess; bloodlust
sacrificing her body to destroy your soul.

Innocent smile, shy eyelashes
vomiting evil beneath the surface.
Decaying skin beneath the makeup.

She hides her eyes, you think it's cute.
Shy smiles invite you; how could you refuse?
Beneath the hair; just under the eyelashes
her eyes scream blood; she plots your demise.

Shy smiles suppress her gory grin.
You think you're in love; look beneath her skin.

She has been hurt, betrayed, scarred. Damaged goods. Marred. Tossed and beaten. Screamed at, thrown away. If you knew the truth behind her disdain you would reel in horror. Filled with dismay. Men like you have made her this way. It's not your fault, but she doesn't differentiate. It's no excuse, she could move on; refuse to be the monster she's become.

Her insecurities mask her disgust and contempt.
So innocent, inexperienced, you cannot detect
the s**t hiding in that pure white dress.

Don't trust your eyes
flee for your life.
She hungers, she craves
when she's done
she'll throw
you
away.

Smiles like an angel
so vulnerable, laid bare
you want to protect her.
You fool.
Beware.

You're in love with a lie.
Ignore my plea, run for her
straight to the claws of a predator.

The poem is amazing. The description made the character come alive. Never know what you will get when something is too good to be true.
"Smiles like an angel
so vulnerable, laid bare
you want to protect her."
A outstanding poem with a very strong story.

Wow for some reason this reminded me of every ex girlfriend I've had. I'm noticing a real dark trend with your writing but I like the in your face attitude
