Real?

Rambling. I just felt like rambling after I just finshed watching the movie 'Tears of the Sun'.

Down, up

And all around

You see it.

Darkness, pain

and everywhere hurt

You feel it...

We as childerned are mostly protected,

But as we grow older the barrior breaks.

Deaths all around

And people get pushed from side to side

But we do nothing.

In this world called 'Life' nothing is real.

What we know and Love in life is an illusion;

We as people are on only one side of the looking glass.

It is many things that create this,

But once we all step on the other,

Only then,

Will we be able to see life the way it is known to be...

UP, down

And all around

You see it.

Light, joy

And no more fears

You can feel it...

Haa. I haven't watched Tears of the Sun. But nice poem. I like how the beginning is dark, saying that there is hurt all around, and we're all engulfed in darkness... then at the ending you turn positive, saying that someday there's be no more fears and we'll be free from our own prejudices. Great job :)
